Pontiac Repair: 2001 grand prix drivers window, bottom of the glass, window glass

2001 grand prix drivers side window sounds like it is binding up and will not go up or down, i took off door panel and found wire was caught on door panel and window was now free to slide up and down manually but is not working with motor  is there any way i can see how the window is attached to motor so i can fix

Hi Patrick:

The cable on the window regulator snapped. It's not serviceable you need to replace the regulator it's sold with the motor as an assembly. The regulator it atatched to the bottom of the window glass with 2 bolts. There are 2 brackets that are glued to the bottom of the glass and the regulator atatches to those brackets.
