QUESTION: my 1998 pontial grprix  stop runing gonig down the road  and it will not crank over

ANSWER: when you say it will not crank over, does it crank but not start or not crank at all?

so when you turn the key nothing lights up, no headlamps, dash lamps nothing?? i am trying to determine whether or not you have a battery, starter or fuel pump issue.  if the car cranks but does not start ie; the motor turns over then it could be a fuel pump.  if it does not crank and or no lights will turn on then it could be a battery or starter
