Pontiac Repair: heat shield rivot replacement, rivots, floor pan

I have an 2003 sunfire  ,and I am removing the heat shield.I read about the rivots.What size do I replace with when I put back.

Hi Mark:

which shiled under the floor pan or the one by the gas tank? If it's the one by the gas tank I just just plastic push rivots I thin they are 3/16" or 1/4" if it the one inder the floor pan I too belive they are 3/16" but get ones with a large head on them to they grab the shield. Good luck
