Pontiac Repair: 1990 2.5 Grand Am, crank sensor, coil pack
QuestionDo you know how to test the coil pack? either by voltmeter or ohmmeter??? don't have a diagram by chance???
I can't get fire and everthing else checks out....that I can get to.

Yes you can check the oils with an OHM meter. across the towers where the coils plug in it chould be between 6,000-7,000 ohms. the terminals where it plugs into the module it shouls have between .5 and 1 ohm. if those are way off base the coil is bad. If you have no spark on either coil I doubt you have 2 bad coils. It's either the ignition module the crank sensor or no power/ground to the module with the key on. you cna check the crank sensor it should have between say 900-1600 ohms. If not it's bad. No I don't have any access to service manauls via the web for nathing older than 1998. good luck :)
