Pontiac Repair: Antifreeze smell, pontiac sunfire, 2003 pontiac sunfire

2003 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2 echotec

Every since I owned this car, purchased new, every once and a while I get a smell of antifreeze while driving. Temperature seems ok just getting that coolant smell.

Hey Cory:

Well the oly real place that you could smell antifreeze is from the heater core. It may just be starting to leak or seep. keep an eye on the recovery bottle/surge tank. if it's low then you have to start looking into this further untill then don't worry about it.
