how do I get to the wiper linkage on a 97 poniac sunfire

You have to remove the wiper arms and for this you need a small 2 jaw gear puller or a "wiper arm removal tool" they are pressed onto the transmission. remove the pastic caps at the base of the arms take off the nuts and use the puller to remove the arms. Then ther  are about 6 or so plastic push rivots remove them by pulling up on the center of them with a pair of pliers and then you can remove the plastic cowl cover to get to the transmission.
