Pontiac Repair: New Rotors..., calier, brake hose
QuestionHow difficult is it to replace the front two rotors? I'm mechanically comfortable, but I've never dared attempt my rotors just incase I can't get something on correctly. Do I need any special tools or anything?
Answeryou remove the tire/wheel look and see how the caliperts are held on , gently pry the brake pads back a lil bit, then remove the two or one bolt that holds the calpier on , , remove the calier and suspend it from the car .. not by the brake hose....
pull off the rotor, depress the caliper with a c clamp and reverse the installation with new shoies
