Pontiac Repair: 93 Bonneville, Engine will not turnover, security light, light flashes

Hi, My daughter has a 93 Bonneville, when you turn the ignition key over, the security light flashes and the engine will not turn over. I cleaned the battery terminals, and the battery is charged. I also crossed the terminals on the starter, the engine will crank, but will not stay running. Hope you can give me some answers to the problem. Thanks Dennis

Sounds like its in theft enable,usually its caused by the ign lock cyl not able to read the key,the lock cyl has 2 small wires located on it and they break due to the motion of the lock cyl,you'll need to replace the ign lock cyl.
