Pontiac Repair: pontiac quad 4 , 2.3, dual overhead cams, chain tension

I have a 1992 pontiac grand am 2.3l quad 4 with
dual overhead cams. I replaced the head and the timing chain guides mainly the long one keeps braking. The chain tension is correct. Any thoughts?

How do you know that the chain tension is correct. There are no specs for chain tension and it has an automatic chain tensioner that is kept adjusted by oil pressure.
Either your chain is worn out or the tensioner is NOT working properly or you did something wrong during instalation of the chain parts.
