Hi,

I live in southeaster Wisconsin.  I am looking to have my transmission rebuilt.  Does anyone have any suggestions or reference of a shop I can go to.  Some of the places I have found are in the west coast and their reputations are not even that great.  Please help.

I had a 4 speed in my 1973t.  Many told me it was suppose to be a 5 speed.  However as I recall 4 speed was stock, 5 speed was an option and everyone had the option but me!

When it comes to remanufacturing or rebuilding I tend to lean toward shops that have been around for awhile.  Here are two sources you can contact to discuss your transmission:
