i thought it might be the thermostat too.
so i took it out.i have the same problem.it doesnt heat any faster or slower.basicly theres no difference in or out. thanks rick

Hi Rick,

Well, you jumped ahead...it seems there are only two more "logical" choices.  1.  The sender is bad, which is unlikely if it sends variable signals.  2.  The radiator is toast.  If there is a blockage or its just rotten the cooling you'd expect won't happen.  It would be a surprise that this would come on so dramatically, but stranger things have happened.  Let me know.
