Hi Dennis,

I've never had the fortune to own a Boxster and then run the battery dead.  On the older cars the answer involves drilling holes in body panels which is not what you wanted to hear. My advice, if your dealer won't tell you the secret is to get on one of the Boxster owner forums...here's one for example:

and pose your question.  I'm sure there's probably a link to the "how-to" section of the forum...or some owner will lament about how it happened to him and tell you what he had to do.
