RV Repair: RV AC fan will not come on after sitting for long periods, long periods, capacitor

Question
My AC seems to work fine when it runs but after sitting for a long period (months) and I go to start the AC the fan will not run. I have to go up and spin the blades on the unit on the roof several times and then it will eventually come on and operate fine cycling on and off with no problems. Is there a way to oil the motor or could this be related to the start-up capacitor?

more often then not it is the motor it is lockin up and rusting the shaft  to the bearings  if thats what you want to call them. A new motor should fix the problem you should get a cap with it to as a kit. Will save you trouble in the long run
