RV Repair: Exterior Rear wall repair, 86 Toy Dolphin, corrugated fiberglass, insert molding

Howdy,
1. Can I join filon on the bottom half to corrugated fiberglass on the top of the rear of the MH?
2.  Should I glue filon onto the luan first?
3.  What kind of joinery or molding can I use to accomplish the transition from one material to another?
4.  Am I crazy or what?
5.  Any other suggestions?

JUS KIDDIN.
OVER LAP THE TWO SURFACES JUST LIKE SHINGLES AND GLUE YOUR FILON DOWN FIRST...THEN YOU CAN USE A PIECE OF INSERT MOLDING TO COVER/SEAL THE OVER LAP SEAM, PUT IN SCREW COVER THEN SEAL THE MOLDING WITH SILICONE.
