RV Repair: Very low pressure in hotwater system, 5th wheel trailer, hot water system

Question
The hot water system in my 5th wheel trailer has very low pressure.  Kitchen and shower hot water is just a trickle.  This is the case whether I am hooked to  city water or using the pump.  This seems to be a simple system,especially when the pump is eliminated.  What could the source of the problem be?

Do you have a hot water heater bypass on your rig? Look at the inside (backside) of your heater and check for what look like shut off valves.
If so, shut the system down and remove the bypass valves and inspect them. They have fairly small openings and tend to build up mineral deposits from your water and plug-up the flow to the hot side..thats why the cold  side isn't effected.
