QuestionHi again.
This is my first RV and want to Take care of it properly, Lately, I have been having to reset the LP wall switch several times. Initially, I would turn on the switch which allows LP gas to the appliances and after some clicks, it would be ready to go. Now the after the clicks (alarm chirps until gas pressure is correct, I guess), a warning sounds and I have to reset. I have been leaving the switch on which solves the problem but is it a good idea? The switch is a on/ off reset type with a blinking L.E.D.
Your advise is always appreciated.
Thanks.......Tom San Antonio, TX
AnswerThere are several things that will set off a LP detector. Low coach battery, perfume, LP of course to name a few.
If you are having issues with this, have your system checked for leaks. If you are still having a problem with the detector with no leaks present, replace the detector.
