RV Repair: dometic Refridgerator, rv salvage, shaft model

Question
I was trying to turn the knob on my fridge from elec to gas and it woud not turn so I used pliers to try to turn it.  Well I broke the knob off. Where can I get a replacement knob and how can I get the knob to turn to gas.  Is there a way to oil the shaft? Model # RM66E

there is a linkeage in the back that the shaft is connected to and that moves the valve.  There should be no reason to lubricate this.  A new knob can be ordered through any Dometic dealer, but may not be available any longer due to age.  There are a few RV salvage yards that should be able to help you if you can't order one.
