RV Repair: roofing, dicor, seams
Questionmy camper sits on a permanant site all year, it looks as if the roof was previously sealed with tar, how often should it be resealed and what product is best to use?
AnswerWe prefer a white non fibered elastomeric coating, or use a self leveling sealant such as Dicor on the seams and vents. It is recommended that the roof is inspected and checked for any sealant issues every 6 months and action taken accordingly.
