RV Repair: Water leak, removing a wall, water leak
QuestionI have a 1980 Layton 24ft trailer. I have a water line busted either to the toilet or the bath tub, my question is if its the one going to the toilet will I have to remove floor and bath tub to get to it? If it is one of the lines going to the bath tub i think i can repair it by removeing the furnace, any help or suggestions appreciated.
AnswerI have no idea how your unit is plumbed. Most units are plumbed so that it is easy to get to the plumbing in case of a leak. In most cases, you should be able to get to it by removing a wall panel, or by cutting through the underbelly fabric. Again, I don't really know how your unit is put together, so it is impossible for me to say for sure.
You certainly shouldn't have to remove the tub.
I hope this helps some,
