RV Repair: rv window calking, rv window, happy camping

Question
The previous owner of my camper has used a type of silastic or silicon calking around the windows. I have removed and recalked properly and am now trying to remove the previously used product without removing the camper paint finish (aluminum). Any ideas appreciated, thanks.

    We use a product called Goo Gone that works pretty well.  It is available most anywhere, grocery store, Lowes, Home Depot etc.  Any adhesive remover should work, just test it in an inconspicuous spot first.  I hope this helps, good luck and happy camping.
