Saab Repair: Brake wear, walter wong, inner pad

Question
How will rear brake pads wear?  will they wear equally or is it possible to have one pad 50% worn and the other 95% worn?  I have a 90 Saab 900 turbo.

Spin the wheel to be sure is not dragging the brakes.
Check the surface of the rotor, if is worn more on one side than other,that could be the problem.
Check the spring at the caliper, if is too loose, the outer pad worn out fast.
Check the piston, if it turns stiff, that make the inner pad in contact with the rotor all the time, and  kill the pad.
