Riding mower will turn over but not start. Have rebuilt carb, checked solenoid, replaced. fuel pump and filter, spark plugs..  When I replaced pump I pulled hose from front of carb o see if fuel would cycle through pump and it does not reach carb. wondering since pump is vacuum can it be a compression problem? have checked hoses all are good.  also fly wheel seems to be very easy to turn by hand, much easier than my other mower?

Answer
If fuel is not being pumped via the fuel pump the engine will never start.

I would remove the spark plugs, dis-connect the fuel line from the carburetor, crank the engine and see if the fuel pump squirts fuel.

Let me know if the fuel pump squirts fuel.
