Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): briggs and stratton md#42e707/ no fire

model # 42E707  new spark plugsand new coil, still no fire...Help

Bad safety switch.  Since you replaced the coil you should have saw one small wire connected to the coil that ran to a connector outside the engine sheet metal housing.

Dis-connect this wire and see if you have spark.  Do you have spark with the small wire disconnected?

Did you install the coil with "This side up"?  It should have been marked.
