Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): weak spark

my lawn mower coil went caput so i went and got a new coil install it disconnect the kill wire from new coil and its producing a very weak spark and the machine wont start, any idea what it could be ?

Did you set the ignition module air gap between 0.010-0.012 of an inch?

Did you buy a new spark plug and try and start the mower by priming the engine?

What brand of engine do you have?  What is the engine model, type and code/serial number?
