Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): kohler 19 hp courage

engine will not turn over. battery good even tried jumping. starter good had it checked out. turns over great with plug out.

Answer
Is the engine oil level correct?  Did anything squirt out of the spark plug hole when you tried to start it with the spark plug removed?

Let me know if anything squirted out when you cranked the engine with the plug out.
