Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): JD L100 42

Hello

I have a JD L100 it is about eight years old I have never had a problem with it. But the other day i was mowing my yard and i noticed the there was a lot rattling in the valves is there any thing that can be done or do i need to get a rebild kit.

Do you have a Briggs and Stratton single OHV engine?

I believe you need Briggs_276781_Single_OHV_Intek repair manual...describes how to check and adjust the valves.

Have you ever changed the oil?
