Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawnmower wont start after you shut it off, allis chalmers 616, windings

I have a allis chalmers 616 lawnmower it runs like a champ but after you mow with it awhile and shut it off it does start up again. engine feels hot took out the plugs and no spark. Let it cool down about a half an hour starts right back up. what should I look for?

What you have is a bad coil on the engine very simple to replace.What happens is as the mower gets hot the coil has a tendency to  start to break down, and it will not work,when it cools off then it will work again the windings in the coil get hot and start to fall apart. Get a new coil for this mower.
