how do i replace the spark plug wire on a kohler 8hp on a 1969 John Deere 110. i cant get to the end of the wire

Do you have this ignition coil?

Is this the spark plug wire?

If you have this set-up you just need to remvoe the old lead and replace it with the new one.  You may have to remove some external engine sheet metal or the coil itself to gain access to the wire.
