Hi our Honda generator sometimes locks up when trying to pull start and you get fuel in the muffler and sump i have taken carby apart and checked needle and seat also taken head off and checked valves and head gasket for damage everything looks to be good have you any ideas to my problem.Thanks John

can you give me model numbers stamped on the engine block  footing or case and the brand maodel of the generator it is fitted to   

does this unit have a vaccuum type fuel fuel pump ?

by locks up  do you mean  will not rotate past tdc compression stroke  with plug removed ?

have you isolated problem to engine itself  and nothing on  the engine is interfering with rotation ie -  coil, starter, etc  


let me know  what engine numbers and machine make , model are  and i will try help further
