I want to totally replace the carb on my homelite LR-4400 generator.  I haven't used it since Hurricane Dennis in 2005.  It starts and immediately dies.  I know it can be cleaned etc but I want to just replace it.  surely much easier.  The engine is a:

8 hp Briggs & Stratton , Model 197412, type 1142 E1

Where is the best place to purchase a carb for it.

Briggs and Stratton 498838 Carburetor ((LMT 119))

Briggs and Stratton 690117 Carburetor((LMT 190 P/N 499455))

Briggs and Stratton 497038 Carburetor ((LMT 69, 103))

Using a flashlight, locate the LMT number you have and match it to the part number above.  Then just Goggle the part number you need.

The replacement part may substitute to a new number but Goggle should pull up the correct replacement part number.
