Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman Lawn tractor, craftsman lawn tractor, briggs and stratton

QUESTION: I have a craftsman Lawn tractor Which does have a weak battery but when i jump it it will start and run for 20 to 30 mins then i can not get it to do more than idel rough. I replaced the fuel filter and sparkplug same results after it warms up.

ANSWER: What is the model number of the tractor and engine.  The mower model is on a sticker, about the size of a business card, usually located under the rear seat or fenders.

The engine model number will be on the engine.  Either a sticker or stamped on the valve cover or engine shroud.  A flashlight helps to see the engine information.
