Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): kohler cv15s engine, crank case, oil engine

Question
gasoline in crank case
runs a short time and stops, exhaust lots of white smoke while runing

Answer
Leaking carb inlet needle.  Remove, dis-assemble and clean carb with compressed air from an air compressor and spray can carb cleaner.  Replace inlet needle/set.  Re-install.

Drain and refill oil.  Engine will smoke until all the oil in the muffler is burned off.
