Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): linkage, engine model type, briggs and stratton

QUESTION: mower will run but throttle is not smooth and will only run full throttle or shut off is there any illustration   to make sure the linkage is in the right places

ANSWER: What is the engine brand and the engine model, type and code number?

I need the information to look up your engine as there are hundreds of linkage configurations.

Has the carb been cleaned?

QUESTION: Model number on mower is 252707 Briggs and Stratton 11hp carb is clean at full throttle it runs great
