Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): wiring, wheelhorse tractors, toro wheelhorse
QuestionHI, I have a scag SWZ52V that had a 17ka I will replace that with a B&S model 351775 type 1146-E1 now I like to know how to wire the wires on the scag to the engine.

Identify the ignition switch first. Mark you wires before disconnecting them. You should be able to identify the alternator and engine shut-off wires. It should be a pretty simple swap if read the Briggs link.
