Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawn Mower engine, briggs and stratton, sprint engine

I have a newer Briggs and Stratton 3.75 HP Sprint engine. The Model # is 96902. The Type is 0110 01 and the Code is 97020551. After I start the motor it runs for a minute or two and then an extremly loud squeal comes from inside the motor. I suspect some sort of bearing but could it be something more simple. The starter pully and everything else seems to be fine.

Should I strip of all the good parts and junk it ?

brake This engine also has a brake when you pull the handle down it releases the brake this might be causing engine problems.It may be sticking,check those out and see if that solves the problem you need to look further Briggs does not make a replacement engine. I have attached 2 files that may help you out.
