Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Mower belts, serpintine belt, automotive store

My belt broke on my riding mower. Deck belt.  Can I use a serpintine belt from the automotive store using same measurements

Riding mowers have pulleys that are specifically designed to use v-belts. A serpentine belt will definitely not work for this application. If the parts store doesn't have a belt with your particular measurement, you may find it at a lawn and garden store, or online.
