Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): engine repair, bolt torque, head gasket

I have a Tecumseh 12,5 hp lawn mower whit no compression, i think it is a bad head gasket, what is the torque for head for this engine # 143941200? I can't fine this any were online. also how do you tell if you have a bad compression ring ?

You engine model number is OHV125-203023B.  Head bolt torque 230 in. lbs.
