Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Wedtrimmer problem, hand torch, shindaiwa

I have a Shindaiwa T-27, Model # T-270,Serial # 7024643 WeedTrimmer, the problem I have is when using the primer bulb it won't get gas to the carb.,I replaced the primer bulb and fuel lines, filter, but when I go to primer it,bubbles come out around the gas tank vent, and it's not getting fuel to the carb. What can I do?

There is a small third fuel line and that should have a check valve on the end of it for tank venting..get the proper grommet and make sure that line has the check valve on it. I've had to clean the screen in the muffler(spark arrester) out on a few trimmers too(hand torch works fine)..one  seems to come in every year because it overloads on the oil. these will usually idle but wont rev up to speed but you could check it out for peace of mind.
