Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Husqvarna 7021RD, delivery problem, mintues

I started my mower after the winter break and it ran for two mintues then died.  I tried changing the gas and oil and it still wont start.  Any ideas why this is happening?  What can i look at?  Thanks

It sounds like a fuel delivery problem.  Spray a little carb cleaner in the carb and then try to start it.  Does it pop?  Do this over a few times to get fresh fuel into the carb bow so it runs.  I speculate you have bad fuel.  If this doeesnt work, but the engine runs momentarily after spraying carb cleaner in it..u may need to remove the carb for a carb cleaning.
