after prime reserve is used mower won't stay running

Answer
If the mower starts, runs for a second, but then dies the problem is a dirty carburetor.  You can try draining the fuel from the carburetor by remove the float bowl nut located on the bottom of the carburetor.  Make sure the holes in the float bowl nut are clean.

If the mower does the same thing after you drain the carburetor then you will need to remove, dis-assemlbe and clean the carb.  Lots of videos on You Tube on cleaning mower carburetors.
