QuestionDynamark 8hp
QUESTION: I have an older AMF Dynamark snowblower, with an 8hp engine, and need to know what model engine it has. The only tag, I could find, has the numbers 2230R on it. Any help? Thank you.
ANSWER: Hello John:
>>From the Picture you Sent, this Engine Looks to be an Older Tecumseh Engine.
>>Look on the Engines Blower Housing; Tecumseh and Other OEM Engine Manufacturers Stamped the Engine Model into the Engines Blower Housing (metal engine cover) Above the Spark Plug or on the Sides above the Muffler or the Carburetor.
>>There should be Other Model Information on the Tag. Send this to me too, Please.
>>Thanks.

QUESTION: Good morning, Mr. Bridges. The engine is a HM80, with what looks like the numbers 155026, stamped with it. My knowledge in small engines is a big fat zero, so I am looking for an engine manual, to help me with carburetor adjustments and such. Have any idea how to find a manual? The info you provided me was very helpful and I rated you appropriately.
AnswerHello Again John:
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.outdoordistributors.com/parts.html and Select the T. Then Select Tecumseh. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Enter the Model Numbers (Example: HM80). Then Select your Model and Download the File for Online Viewing.
>>You can Also Order the Service Manual you Require for this Engine (Manual #740049) from Outdoor Distributors also for $9.95us.
