Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snowblower not moving in all gears, forward drive, snow blower

Hello Ben,
   I have a craftsman snow blower model # 536.881114  11hp . Started not working all the time in 1st  and then seemed to move up to not working in 2nd and now a little in third . Seems to be going through all the speeds for forward . Reverse is working fine though . Thanks for any help you may give me .

Sounds like the friction hub is going bad  or the hub. This is what drives the unit since you use reverse very little that part is good it is the forward drive parts that need replaced.Go Sears parts . com and enter your model # in there and you can look up the parts. We also carry those parts cheaper than sears.
