Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): tire shafts to tranny, craftsman model, wont move

i have a craftsman gold edition and i cant get tire shaft to stay to the transmission. when i put it it the tire shafts pop out of place in the transmission and it wont move. how can i fix it?

Please send me the Craftsman model number.  The model number is on a sticker, about the size of a business card, and the format will be something similar to xxx.xxxxx or xxx-xxx-xxx.  Let me know the model number so I can look up your transmission.
