Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): best wwy to clean spark arrestor, stihl br, exhaust gasses

Hi John I have a stihl br 340 blower with a very dirty spark arrestor. It's in good shape otherwise. How best to clean.  Thank you so very much for your time. I'm sure you have answered this before....

>>A Wire Brush is the Best Way and Remember Not to Flex the Screen too Much as the Screen is Usually Brittle from the Intense Heat of the Exhaust Gasses.
