Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): honda 11hp engine wont run, hp gas engine, plunger

dewalt 6000 gen, with 11 hp gas engine, with pull start, gas going to carb,won't start. useing starting fluid will start and try to run, 2 wires coming out of bottom of carb what is this ? no bowl that may be the culprit.. help

It sounds like you have a fuel shutoff solenoid on the carburetor. One wire is positive and one negative. If this doesn't work, you won't get any fuel to the engine. It is a plunger, when it has power is gets pulled in, when the power is turned off to it, it pops out.
