Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): craftsman leaf blower/vac repair, craftsman leaf blower, repair model

Blower won't start - gets gas but won't fire at all.

I have tested for spark by hand and cannot get any.  Have taken it apart and the igniter (as Sears Manual calls it) appears okay and is properly gapped.

Is there a way to test the igniter (part # 530035505) to be sure before I pay out $25.

If it is not the igniter, any other thoughts?

Throw throw coil out and get a new one,the old one is bad either you have spark or you don't. There is good way to check the coil if it starts to get hot it will shut down,you can not keep taking it off and on. The best bet get a new coil and then you do not have to worry.
