Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): BS Mod 42A707, switch problem, riding mower

Been having same issues are previous (starving for gas) and your answer is better then BS site support. New question: engine has no spark, replaced coil, sanded mag replaced spark plugs, what else should I check?

If this is on a riding mower there is the safety system to consider. There is a wire running to the coil that gives it a ground to kill the spark. If you remove that wire and have a spark then you have a safety switch problem or ignition switch problem.
