Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): tec carb.y8, valve clearance, float bowl

weedeater lawnmower ohv170, carburetor#640072a . only runs when it is fully choked,have cleaned carb.checked float , seems to be getting gas ok

I suspect the problem is still in the carb.  However, before replacing the Float Bowl Assembly Repair Kit (730639) I would checked the valve clearance.  

Did you blow compressed air from an air compressor through all the carburetor orfices?  Let me know what the valve clearance is.
