Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): adjisting engine rpm on a gth2648 husqvarna engine, engine model type, briggs and stratton

how does one adjust the engine rpm up on the engine that powers the gth2628 mower. The throttle only speeds it up to a certain rpm and I would like to adjust it a bit faster.

Usually you can tighten or shorten the governor spring to adjust the RPM.  Which engine do you have?  Briggs and Stratton, Onan, Kohler, Kawasaki, Honda?

Let me know the engine model, type, code/serial number as well so I can look up the parts diagram.
