QuestionWe previously asked All Experts about cleaning and adjusting the carb on this
motor. Currently it runs, but ONLY with the choke half closed.
We had heard that these carbs had break off plastic on the adjusters. Unfortunately, our
carb has no external adjusters, I really mean none! We have attached a link to our Honda

As labeled we have no #1 adjuster. There is not even a plug or hole in the carb where
this could be hiding under a lead plug. We do have #2 and #4.
So the $64,000 is, how do you adjust this factory carb

Because of the EPA they have told engine builders to seal off or not allow adjustments to the carb for environmental purposes. Soon they are coming out with a carb that requires a catalyst converter because of emissions.So to answer your question there is no adjustment allowed.
